Artists and scientists have always sought to overcome the myths of their time, deepen their thinking, and transcend the social and geographical boundaries of their surroundings.

This concert features composers from Emilia-Romagna, a region in northern Italy that stretches along the straight Roman road Via Emilia. The region has produced numerous world-renowned artists whose work set standards for their own time and for the future. Notably, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart studied at the only academy in Bologna – a testament to the region’s cultural significance!
